Cabrera Open Gardens Held on Sunday 9th May
Cabrera and the gardens have recovered very well after last years fires and this event was fantastic.
Message from the organiser Sheila Golding.
Although the day was windy we had an excellent attendance of 466, which was 167 up on last year. Tea and cakes were, once again, very popular and we sold 561, again up on last year. We were happy to donate 2,185.00 to Macs Cancer Support, 1,484.74 to our Fiesta Fund, and 134.90, which was raised through plant sales, for the Library. I think it was a very good day, enjoyed by our visitors, from far and wide, and our exhibitors. A real fun day.

Just thinking of next year if any of you would like to open their garden please let me know. We always
have one or two drop out because of other commitments and its so nice to have new gardens.
